Remove Brown Spots

Remove Brown Spots, SKs

Remove brown spots, seborrheic keratosis with the Clairista refining pen!

More than 71 million adults have brown spots, and spots caused by seborrheic keratosis (SK) growths. Although they are painless and benign, they can grow in areas where they become irritated by jewelry or clothing. The characteristic brown spots can be prolific, and many people who have them consider them unsightly. Historically treatment options were limited to cutting, burning, and freezing. The new Clearista Refining Pen fundamentally erases seborrheic keratosis brown spots and other skin irregularities painlessly and instantly!

What is a Seborrheic Keratosis?

A seborrheic keratosis pronounced seb-o-REE-ik ker-uh-TOE-sis, is a scaly, waxy growth that is slightly elevated. Seborrheic is Latin for “greasy” and keratosis is Latin for “thickening of the skin”. Seborrheic keratosis, also called SKs, are not contagious and they do not spread. They are simply very common benign growths that appear to be hereditary.

SKs are usually light tan or brown spots that have a round or oval shape. They usually start as very small rough bumps that grow slowly, becoming thicker and developing a warty surface. Their waxy raised surface gives them a distinctive “pasted on” appearance.

The New Clearista Refining Pen

The Clearista Refining Pen uses Targeted Corrective Exfoliation (TCX) to precisely remove brown spots, including SKs, without affecting the surrounding area.

Each Clearista Refining Pen contains its patented exfoliation solution which is applied with a specialized foam tip. Unlike freezing and burning, the Clearista allows licensed practitioners to remove SKs and other skin blemishes with tremendous precision. The Clearista allows depth precision in skin imperfection removal that is difficult, if not impossible, with traditional brown spot removal methods.

The Clearista Refining Pen is explicitly used only on the SK or brown spot, so there is virtually no chance that unintended tissue damage can occur. The Clearista Refining Pen quickly and painlessly removes SKs, brown spots, bumps, rough patches and other skin imperfections.

After a licensed practitioner applies a softening gel, the Clearista Refining Pen is used to begin its unique targeted corrective exfoliation process. In just a few minutes, the Clearista Refining Pen virtually erases the SK or other skin blemishes. A scab forms a few days after treatment, and the superficial wound completely heals over the next few months.

Other Treatment Options

Historically seborrheic keratosis, or raised brown spots, could only be treated with cryosurgery (freezing), electrosurgery (burning), acids, or curettage (cutting) that was usually performed by a dermatologist. The problem with freezing, burning, acids, and cutting is that it is very difficult to precisely remove only the brown spot, meaning it is very easy to remove too little or too much tissue. Removing too much tissue increases healing time and the chances of scarring. Removing too little means you have to have a treatment repeated.

In addition to being imprecise, the traditional methods for removing brown spots are expensive. Dermatologists charge $400 or more per spot!
